The Green Bay Packers are no longer listing Ty Montgomery on their injury report, meaning he is good to go vs. the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9. The expectation is for Montgomery to be the Packers’ lead running back in this game, according to Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reporter Tom Silverstein.
Ty Montgomery injury update: Packers WR good to vs. Colts, for fantasy owners
Ty Montgomery missed Week 8 due to an illness, but it looks like he will return and get a nice workload vs. the Colts in Week 9.

Montgomery was a surprise inactive in Week 8 due to an illness he is still recovering form, which led to him being limited in practice this week. He is working as a running back and wide receiver in Green Bay’s offense, and he’s accounted for 227 total yards in just two games of work in that role.
That figures to continue in Week 9 against a Colts defense that has struggled to stop anyone this season.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Montgomery as the 28th-best receiver and 58th-best running back in Week 9. He faces a Colts defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs and ninth-fewest points to receivers this season.
Keep Montgomery in your starting lineup this week.
