Steelers’ Chris Boswell has successfully executed a Rabona kick before

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsPittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell didn’t execute a Rabona-style onside kick correctly on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. In fact, it was the worst onside kick we’ve ever seen. But, we know he is fully capable of doing it right. When Boswell played for Rice University, he nailed a perfect Rabona kick.
In September 2013, the Owls were down 31-26 against their rival, the Houston Cougars, with two minutes left. Rice lined up for the onside kick, and Boswell was right on the money:

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY SportsThe Oakland Raiders are the new leader in the AFC West following their 30-20 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday night. Oakland outplayed Denver from the start of the game, and with the win, the Raiders look like they’re a legitimate contender.
Denver’s offense struggled Sunday, managing just 10 first downs and converting only three of 11 third downs. Denver’s time of possession was abysmal, at 18:32. The Broncos did not trail by an insurmountable score through much of the game, but they couldn’t get it done against Oakland.

Trailing Carolina, 13-10, with 32 seconds to play, the Rams lined up for an unorthodox onside kick. Then Los Angeles kicker Greg Zuerlein booted the ball 46 yards downfield where only the Panthers could recover.
The ball squibbed its way to the Carolina 19, where Ted Ginn chased it down to end any hope of a Los Angeles comeback. The original strategy may have been to carom the kick off one of the Panthers’ upbacks, but Zuerlein’s kick missed pay dirt and rolled to a spot where only Carolina could recover.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY SportsJay Ajayi, the second-year Miami Dolphins tailback who had not run for more than 48 yards in a professional game until Week 6, was coming off of two consecutive 200-yard games, which is something only players like Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, and Jim Brown had accomplished.
If he had managed to get 200 rushing yards against the New York Jets on Sunday, Ajayi would have become the first player in NFL history to run for 200 yards or more in three consecutive games. Instead, Ajayi had a respectable 111 yards on the ground against the No. 1 run defense in the league to help the Dolphins beat the Jets with a final score of 27-23.

It’s been a rough season for the Jacksonville Jaguars and high-priced additions to the defense haven’t fixed things. No team has forced fewer turnovers than the Jaguars, but when Nick Foles gifted a free interception, the team managed to find a way to screw it up.
It would’ve been the first turnover forced by the Jaguars defense since Week 4 and it would’ve been Prince Amukamara’s first interception after signing with the team as a free agent in the offseason.

This celebration earned a 15-yard penalty. Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY SportsThere probably isn’t a league-wide scandal against the Seattle Seahawks, but Richard Sherman was right about at least one thing; the NFL certainly seems less fun than it used to be.
The league has earned its reputation as the No Fun League in 2016 after a nationwide crackdown on celebrations both simple and lavish. While officials are on pace to call fewer unsportsmanlike conduct penalties this fall than in 2015, they had thrown more excessive celebration flags through five weeks than they had all last season.
