Charlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker left Saturday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a left knee contusion. The team listed his status as day-to-day.

Walker exited late in the fourth quarter of the Hornets’ loss to Cleveland on Saturday.


With 3:38 remaining In the fourth quarter of the Hornets’ 116-105 Saturday loss to Cleveland, Walker exited the game after injuring his knee. It is the same knee he injured three years ago that kept him out of 29 games between the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.
Charlotte’s next game is against Indiana on Monday.
Walker had 24 points (9-for-14 shooting) and five assists in 30 minutes against the Cavaliers. He is averaging a career-best 23.3 points, 5.0 assists and 3.8 rebounds for Charlotte (14-10).
The Hornets also have Ramon Sessions and Brian Roberts as point guards on the roster.
