New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will not let a divisional rivalry interfere with his personal relationship with Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant.
Odell Beckham Jr. is good friends with Dez Bryant, despite Cowboys vs. Giants rivalry
Friendships are stronger than rivalries.

The NFC East contenders will face off in a high-stakes Week 14 matchup at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football. If Dallas (11-1) wins, it will clinch the NFC East. However, if the Giants come away with the victory, they will improve to 9-4 and keep their hopes alive at a division crown. Despite the heated competition on the field between the two teams, Beckham and Bryant are good friends off it.
Fans got to see a glimpse of Beckham and Bryant’s friendship when the two receivers played catch during pregame of their Week 1 matchup in Dallas.
Earlier this week, Beckham said he enjoys seeing Bryant successful, even if his performances lead to Dallas’ victories.
“I’m just happy to see him doing his thing, kind of back to being Dez,” Beckham said. “They got something special going on over there, and I know he’s very happy to be a part of it. I think that’s what makes him happiest is catching passes and winning games.”
Bryant and Beckham are two of the best receivers in the NFL, but they are also very emotional on the football field. Fans and analysts have criticized both players for that.
“I’m pretty sure all his teammates know what the deal is with him just like all my teammates know what the deal is with me,” Beckham said. “It’s unfortunate that we have to be the butt of the joke in a sense, but great talent comes with great responsibility.”
“I think people don’t do a good enough job of finding out who we really are as people,” Bryant added.
One thing is for sure: Both players are entertaining to watch. When the Cowboys and Giants collide on Sunday night, their passion and confidence will be on full display, and maybe their friendship will be too.
