The playoffs continue on Monday night for many fantasy leagues, and those owners don’t have any more room for error. Fantasy owners will have a few options to choose from, but they could be in store for a low-scoring affair. Let’s take a look:
Fantasy football advice, Week 14: Who to start/sit for Atlanta Falcons vs. Los Angeles Rams
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who shouldbe in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 14 NFC matchup.

Atlanta Falcons
Start ‘em
With reports surfacing of Julio Jones being a “decoy at best” for Sunday, the Falcons will likely have to rely on their backfield to move the chains. Mohamed Sanu is also out of action, which means targets and carries would be in order for both Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. The Rams have surrendered 114 rushing yards per game, which is good enough for 21st in the NFL, and the 71 receptions they’ve allowed to opposing running backs is the league’s seventh-highest total. Sanu’s absence and Jones’ potential absence throw Taylor Gabriel in the line of fire, and the speedster may be in for his biggest workload as a pro. Gabriel can be considered an upside flex play for Sunday.
Sit ‘em
Though Matt Ryan has been one of fantasy football’s most productive quarterbacks, it would be difficult to trust him in the first week of fantasy playoffs without his top two receivers in a tough road matchup.
Los Angeles Rams
Start ‘em
Todd Gurley owners know the routine by now. His production is severely hindered by a dreadful supporting cast, but Gurley hasn’t helped himself either. The Falcons present a great matchup for him, but even with that, Gurley is a volume-based RB2/flex. The Falcons have also been susceptible to allowing fantasy points to opposing tight ends, as they’ve given up the fifth most to the position and allowed Cameron Brate and Jermaine Gresham to find the end zone against them in recent weeks. It makes Lance Kendricks a viable, but risky, TE1.
Sit ‘em
With Jared Goff appearing in-over-his-head, fantasy owners would be advised to steer clear of him, Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt until further notice.
