Terrence Ross tried a windmill dunk and the rim rudely sent it back
The Raptors high-flyer came up empty on a gravity-defying dunk attempt.

When you have an 18-point lead late in the fourth quarter, things start to get fun. Players start to take more heat checks, and guys like Raptors guard Terrence Ross get super creative in mid-air.
Toronto, indeed, held an 18-point fourth quarter lead over Milwaukee on Tuesday, and Ross found himself all alone on a fast break. But in an unfortunate turn of events, the Raptors’ high-flyer completely clanked what would have been a bring-the-house-down windmill dunk attempt.
A windmill should have been light work for Ross, who opened the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest with a 360 behind-the-back dunk. His dunk reel probably features more twists and turns than a contortionist starring in an episode of 24. But, hey, you win some and you lose some, right?
Here’s another angle, exclusively for your viewing pleasure:
Even the Raptors Twitter account had some fun at their sixth man’s expense.
Toronto recovered the ball, and Kyle Lowry ended the possession drilling a three-pointer to put the Raptors up 21. Ross finished with a season-high 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting, and his team went on to beat Milwaukee, 122-100. So Toronto’s wing man can live to see another day.
But how about a lay-up next time?
