It was a pretty mediocre week for fantasy quarterbacks in Week 14. Cam Newton and Russell Wilson ruined my fantasy playoffs in two of my leagues. Dak Prescott, Drew Brees, and Derek Carr were all limited to poor performances. You know it’s a bad week when Bryce Petty and Jared Goff outscore your fantasy quarterback.
Fantasy football rankings, Week 15: Quarterbacks
The SB Nation fantasy team reveals which quarterbacks rank in the top 25 heading into Week 15.

On the other hand, three quarterbacks produced for us in the first round of the playoffs. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Matt Ryan threw for three touchdowns each. That demonstrates that you have to start your stars, even if they may be facing a tough defensive team.
Rodgers suffered a calf strain in Week 14. He played through leg injuries last season and earlier this season. It’s not going to cause him to miss Week 15, but it’s worth keeping an eye on. Matthew Stafford dislocated his middle finger on his throwing hand. He’s not going to miss any time, but he may have to wear a glove or brace to protect the finger. Stafford faces a tough road game in Week 15 against the Giants in the cold. You might be wise to look at other options this week. Lastly, Ryan Tannehill sprained his ACL and MCL. He hasn’t been placed on injured reserve, but it’ll be difficult for him to return for either Week 16 or Week 17.
My sleeper this week is Tyrod Taylor. His job situation is up in the air, but he will get the start against Cleveland in Week 15. Cleveland has been a mess all season, and things aren’t going to change this week. Taylor has an opportunity to put up some good numbers and audition for other teams that may be looking for a quarterback in 2017. Cleveland could be one of those teams. I think he’ll pass for 290 yards with two touchdowns against the Browns. On the ground, he’ll run for 40 yards and a touchdown.
