It’s semifinals week for fantasy football owners, but frankly, if they made it this far with players from either of the teams in Thursday night’s matchup, they should be thanking their lucky stars. That’s especially true after miserable performances by both the Seahawks and the Rams on Sunday. Presuming fantasy owners with stock in either team are still gunning for their league crowns, we can take a look at Thursday night’s options.
Fantasy football advice, Week 15: Who to start/sit for Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for Thursday night’s NFC West battle.

Seattle Seahawks
Start ‘em
It’s hard to imagine there being another team in more disarray than one whose quarterback just threw five interceptions, but luckily for the Seahawks, that’s their opponent on Thursday night. The Rams, who finally fired Jeff Fisher on Monday, are a frenzied mess that allowed 28 points to an Atlanta offense sans Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu (that doesn’t include the additional 14 points the Falcons scored off turnovers). It’s great news for a Seattle offense hoping to get back on track after being embarrassed by the Packers on Sunday, and fantasy owners who are lucky enough to have made it this far in the playoffs with Russell Wilson should look toward starting him once again. The same can be said for Thomas Rawls, Jimmy Graham and Doug Baldwin, who should all benefit from a matchup against a Los Angeles defense that looks like it has nothing left in the tank.
Sit ‘em
Tyler Lockett offers upside as usual, but usage will always be a concern for the electric speedster. He can remain on benches along with Jermaine Kearse.
Los Angeles Rams
Start ‘em?
To Todd Gurley owners who have made it this far in the season despite essentially wasting a top-five pick, congratulations. Your reward is a matchup against a defense allowing just 3.5 yards per carry. Though it’s no secret that Gurley monopolizes the backfield, the concern remains the same; he is on an offense that can’t sustain drives or score points. The case can be made to keep Gurley in lineups due to his volume, but he remains a touchdown-or-bust flex option.
Sit ‘em
Until Jared Goff turns a corner — and there’s no indication he will anytime soon — fantasy owners can bench him and the rest of the Rams receiving corps, even against a Seattle defense that is missing Earl Thomas. That also goes for Kenny Britt, who is closing in on his first career 1,000-yard season.
