The NFL adopted its Color Rush promotion in October of 2015, in which the competing teams on Thursday Night Football would wear specially designed alternate uniforms. We’ve seen some good ones since its inception, but tonight the Seahawks might be wearing the best ones we’ve seen yet against the Rams.
Seahawks are wearing the best Color Rush uniforms yet on ‘Thursday Night Football’
These all-green uniforms are clean.

In 2009, the Seahawks wore green alternate uniforms with blue pants and socks. Their Color Rush uniforms will be all green, called Action Green, outside of their helmets.
Safety Kam Chancellor is a fan of the uniforms. “Overall, it’s a real bright color, but I like it,” Chancellor said in September. “I like how they got a little bit of blue on it just to make it pop out a little bit, and the helmet with it makes it look good.”
Wide receiver Doug Baldwin also likes them, but added that there’s more meaning to them. “It shows that we’re different,” Baldwin said. “We’re a different team. We’re a different animal. When you put on this jersey, when you put on these colors, you represent the Seattle Seahawks, and that means something.”
It’s not just their uniforms that are going to be green. Typically, the Seahawks’ end zones are blue, like the main color of their uniforms. Tonight, those will be painted green to match the uniforms.
In case anybody in the Seattle area wasn’t aware of the uniforms that were announced back in September, CenturyLink Field had the stadium illuminating in green the night before the game.
”They always say if you look good, you play good, you feel good,” Chancellor said. “So I’m ready to look good and feel good. I’m ready to wear them.”
There’s no telling how Thursday’s game will go, but it will be colorful, without question.
