With only four teams remaining in each fantasy league across the board, it’s not exactly a news flash to say that fantasy owners have to be at the top of their game. Several factors present themselves for the matchup between the Packers and Bears on Sunday, and fantasy owners will absolutely have to examine them closely to get the upper hand on their opponent. Let’s take a look:
Fantasy football advice, Week 15: Who to start/sit for Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 15 NFC North showdown.

Green Bay Packers
Start ‘em
Frigid temperatures could be a factor in Sunday’s matchup in Chicago, but even a blizzard may not stop fantasy owners from benching the red hot Aaron Rodgers. Even with a calf injury in recent weeks, Rodgers has scored multiple touchdowns in each of his last eight games, and six of those included him finding the end zone three times. Even against a Bears defense that has been competitive, Rodgers can be started in all leagues, along with Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams.
Sit ‘em
Despite Rodgers’ hot streak, Randall Cobb hasn’t had the viable fantasy numbers that would usually be a byproduct of stellar quarterback play. Those numbers have belonged to Adams and Nelson, and fantasy owners would be playing with fire to start Cobb in the fantasy semifinals. And with the Packers’ backfield lacking clarity, options other than Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael would be advised.
Chicago Bears
Start ‘em
In Week 14, Jordan Howard extended his streak of 99 total yards or more to six consecutive games. It was an impressive feat considering the Bears only had the ball for 50 plays, which is a game script that could happen again versus the Packers. Despite that risk, fantasy owners don’t have enough reason to bench Howard, who has logged the seventh-most fantasy points at his position since taking over the starting job in Week 4. Alshon Jeffery, who is fresh off his suspension, remains an upside WR2 after positive reports of him looking rejuvenated have surfaced. Even with Matt Barkley under center, Jeffery has the talent to achieve lofty fantasy heights.
Sit ‘em
With Jeffery back in action, fantasy owners won’t have any reason to rely on Cameron Meredith for fantasy points. Barkley can also join him on benches in all formats.
