Jeremy Hill isn’t afraid of any of the superstition surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers Terrible Towels.
Jeremy Hill pretended to shred a Terrible Towel, and the Steelers rolled the Bengals after that
*Clutches chest*

That’s one way to celebrate a touchdown. Even worse for Steelers fans, the Cincinnati Bengals showed it on the big screen. What a slap in the face.
The Steelers got the last laugh, though. After this, the Bengals were outscored 21-4, for a 24-20 loss.
After the game, Hill was not apologetic for what he did to the towel:
This isn’t the first time the curse of the Terrible Towel has befallen the Bengals, either.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh did almost this very same thing back in 2005, then Carson Palmer wound up tearing his ACL, plus things went south with Chad Johnson and the coaching staff.
The towel all started as a gimmick by a Pittsburgh radio station, back in the 1970s. Fans spin the towel from their fists while they cheer, and it’s become a Steelers icon, as well as fodder for opposing teams, although some Steelers fans say disrespecting the towel leads to brutal losses for whichever team dares desecrate it, like the Titans during a playoff game in 2008, who went on to lose to the 49ers in AFC title game, 49-26.
