The Cincinnati Bengals have ruled out Tyler Eifert vs. the Houston Texans in Week 16.
Tyler Eifert injury update: Bengals TE out vs. Texans, for fantasy owners
The Bengals are without Tyler Eifert as they face the Texans in primetime on Christmas Eve.

Eifert is dealing with a back injury that popped up following Cincinnati’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15. It is unclear if this is the same back injury that plagued him earlier in the season while he was recovering from offseason ankle surgery.
In eight games this season, Eifert has hauled in 29 passes for 394 yards and five touchdowns. Four of those scores came in the three games prior to last week as he was back to being an elite fantasy tight end.
Fantasy Impact: In addition to Eifert, the Bengals also ruled out backup tight end Tyler Kroft. That means C.J. Uzomah is now the No. 1 tight end in Houston, making him a sneaky fantasy play this weekend.
If you league has its championship in Week 17, keep Eifert rostered for now. If the championship is this week, cut Eifert in hopes of finding a replacement off the waiver wire.
