Morning Skate: The Calgary Flames absolutely feasted on the Ducks
A new high score!

Lace ‘em up. Time for the Morning Skate.
DUCK AND COVER
Punchline setup: Hey, remember when the Montreal Canadiens lost 10-0 to the Blue Jackets this year? That was crazy. Surely no game would get that out of hand again.
Punchline: OH WAIT ONE DID
The Flames beat up on the Ducks in an 8-3 win on Sunday, and it somehow felt uglier than that 10-0 Jackets win. Maybe that’s because the Flames scored five goals in six minutes. Or because the hockey skills aura of Johnny Hockey returned with a vengeance.
At any rate, we’re glad we weren’t stuck on that plane back to Anaheim with Randy Carlyle.
