Russell Westbrook won the NBA All-Star Game MVP as he scored 31 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists as the West beat the East, 196-173 on Sunday night in Toronto. The West's 196 points set the record for most in All-Star Game history.

The West scored the most points in All-Star Game history behind the relentless Westbrook.
Westbrook won his second MVP award in as many years. The reigning MVP was in attack mode — just like every other game — all night. He took advantage of the All-Star Game level defense by the East, who gave up 105 points over the second and third quarters.
It was a good night for the Oklahoma City Thunder — Kevin Durant added 23 points in the win. The Thunder are third in the West behind the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs at 40-14. Westbrook is averaging 24.1 points, 10 assists and 7.6 rebounds per game.
He didn’t score 41 points like he did in last year’s MVP performance, but he attacked the rim with ferocity all night and he drove the West’s offensive onslaught all night.
Paul George had 41 points in a losing effort for the East, but it was Westbrook who took home his second All-Star Game MVP award in a row.
