The Los Angeles Lakers concluded "different interpretations" led to Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson being accused of sexually harassing a woman and her mother on Sunday.
Lakers say they support Nick Young, Jordan Clarkson after ‘different interpretations’ led to sexual harassment claim
The Lakers are standing by their players.

In a statement released by the team, they noted that they spoke with Young and Clarkson, and the woman, Alexis Jones, who accused the two NBA players of harassment.
“We’ve looked into the situation and spoken to Alexis Jones as well as to Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson. Based on these conversations, our conclusion is that there are different interpretations of what happened. We support Nick and Jordan and believe what they told us about the incident and their actions. We also are supportive of Alexis and her feelings about what happened, about women’s rights, and of the fine work Alexis is doing with her organization. I had several conversations with Alexis and her publicist, and tried to arrange a meeting between her, Nick and Jordan. Unfortunately, Alexis’s schedule didn’t allow for this to happen yesterday. We will also continue to stay in touch with her about the possibility of addressing our team about the important issues with which she’s involved.”
The investigation appears to be done, but the team will continue to work with Jones to make sure similar issues don’t pop up again.
Jones posted photos on her Instagram account of four men who she claims yelled and made “disgustingly vulgar gestures” at her and her mother. Two of the men in the photos turned out to be Young and Clarkson.
Jones is a co-founder of I AM THAT GIRL, a non-profit that helps “girls to transform self-doubt in to self-love by providing a safe space to connect and have honest conversations about things that matter,” according to Deadspin.
We will update if more information becomes available, but it appears the Lakers have ended the investigation.
