5’9 Isaiah Thomas ruins Chris Paul’s fast break with a chasedown block

Thomas can get up.

Chris Paul thought he was coasting in for an easy layup. Not only did he have a few steps on the defender, but it was 5'9 Isaiah Thomas, who is three inches shorter than Paul, chasing him. But a few steps -- and inches -- weren't enough to get the two points. Thomas chased down Paul and swatted his shot to the sideline with some gusto.

Paul -- one to let the refs know when they made a mistake -- was so surprised he only kind of complained about the no-call after Thomas grazed the top of his head.
