NIGHTMARE FUEL
If you visit NHL.com today, you’ll notice a giant playoff graphic on their front page. And it probably terrified you.
Now, I’m fairly certain these are supposed to represent certain players on each playoff team. But I’m not sure. These require closer inspection.
This is the most unflattering depiction of Jamie Benn ever. He looks like he hasn’t slept in months. And the double-chin is egregious. For some reason it reminds me of the obese governor in Monkey Island 2 who had food fired into his mouth while he laid in bed. That’s not a good thing.
The Eastern Conference stands no chance against the soulless corpses of Corey Perry, Mikko Koivu and Patrick Kane.
“Hey, how do we make the league’s best, most likable player look like a guy who would steal your kid’s candy at a fair?”
