Reigning American League MVP Josh Donaldson of the Toronto Blue Jays was all over this line drive to third base to open Thursday night's game against the Baltimore Orioles in the bottom of the first inning, only he somehow didn't catch it.

The ball went right through the webbing of Donaldson's glove, and was scored a single for Joey Rickard by the official scorer.
Donaldson seemed stunned, and rightfully so. As the old saying goes, a craftsman never blames his tools, but in this case the blame was completely justified, something Donaldson quickly rectified by going into the clubhouse to grab a new glove.
