Chris Paul left the court in the middle of the third quarter in Game 4 of the first round playoff series between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night with a third metacarpal fracture on his right hand, according to Dan Woike of the OC Register. The injury will "most likely" force Paul to miss the rest of the playoffs, according to J.A. Adande of ESPN.

The Los Angeles Clippers point guard left Game 4 in the third quarter and will likely miss extended time.

Paul was leading the Clippers on Monday when a win would have given them complete control and a 3-1 series lead. Instead, the Clippers appear to be without their star point guard for an extended period of time.
Paul had 16 points and four assists when he left the game. He scored the Clippers first 12 points, and was playing great defensively against Damian Lillard. He had wreaked havoc on the Trail Blazers all series, but for now, Paul will be out for an unknown amount of time.
He exited the court for the locker room shortly after injuring his hand, kicking a seat as he left the bench.
The injury occurred as Paul swiped at Gerald Henderson on a defensive play in the third.
He was clearly upset as he left the court.
