Ben is off today, but we have a special guest joining the podcast this week: Fred Katz, the new Oklahoma City Thunder beat reporter for the Norman Transcript. You may know Fred as the reporter caught accidentally asking a question to himself the a press conference following Game 5. Here’s what happened in case you missed it.
So @FredKatz had a little trouble with a question, KD & Russ thought it was hilarious pic.twitter.com/SeSI7qcMDY

We had to ask poor Fred what happened, and he graciously explained himself. Happens to the best of us.
We also talked about that surprising Thunder Game 5 victory, including:
- How has the Thunder’s much-maligned defense risen to the challenge in stopping the Spurs?
- Why is the Enes Kanter/Steven Adams frontcourt working so well?
- Did Russell Westbrook change his game after being criticized for shooting too much in Game 3, or are we again harping on his flaws while failing to appreciate his gifts?
- How will the Spurs match up in Game 6? Will Kawhi Leonard again be used as a roaming help defender rather than directly defending Kevin Durant or Westbrook?
