Raptors vs. Cavaliers 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NBA playoffs online

The Cavaliers continue their march to the NBA Championship in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Eastern Conference Finals will tip off when the Toronto Raptors visit the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 on Tuesday night. The Cavaliers are heavily favored to coast into the NBA Finals for the second consecutive year, but the Raptors are fresh off a hard-fought series win over the Miami Heat.

LeBron James is gunning for his sixth consecutive trip to the Finals -- he led the Heat to four straight Eastern Conference titles from 2011-14 and took the Cavaliers back to the Finals for the first time since leading them there in 2007. Last year's Cavaliers squad entered the series with the Golden State Warriors without Kevin Love and a banged up Kyrie Irving -- this year's team is peaking at the right time.

The Cavaliers swept their way through the first two rounds of the playoffs, dispatching of the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks thanks to three-point shooting and James' dominance. The Cavaliers are hitting 16.8 threes per contest in the playoffs, and with J.R Smith and Channing Frye on fire, they don't show any signs of slowing.

The Raptors, meanwhile, are in the conference finals for the first time in franchise history. After struggling through the first round and in Game 1 against the Heat, Kyle Lowry found his stroke and led the Raptors past Miami with a dominant Game 7 performance.

DeMar DeRozan has struggled to find his shot this postseason -- hitting only 35.5 percent of his shots -- but the Raptors have managed to survive Game 7 against the Heat and, in the first round, against the Pacers.

If they’re going to hang with the high-scoring Cavaliers, the Raptors will need to step up their offensive game. With Lowry back at his All-Star levels, it’s feasible -- the Raptors did take two out of three against the Cavaliers in the regular season.
