Preakness Stakes 2016 weather forecast: Rain, wet track expected at Pimlico
It’s gonna rain.

That shouldn’t affect race-favorite and Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist much, as he has a victory on a wet track already in Florida. Derby runner-up Exaggerator won a sloppy Santa Anita Derby in mud in April. Cherry Wine could benefit from the damp conditions and contend for the board, also.
The $1.5 million, 1-3/16-mile 141st running of the Preakness Stakes can be viewed on NBC with the broadcast beginning at 5 p.m., or following the hockey game. You can follow the action beginning at 2:30 p.m. on NBCSN. Online, NBC Sports Live Extra provides the stream for the day’s events.
