Stephen Curry defends his new Shuffleboard shoes

The jokes have been flying fast and furious since Under Armour released the Chef Curry Lows, mainly because they look like some Skechers. Curry was asked about the backlash after the Warriors’ Game 4 win in Cleveland.

There’s a lot to love here.

Steph’s visible annoyance at having to hear about those terrible shoes again.

Klay politely nodding like, “Yeah, you tell them buddy. Your shoes are neat.”

Perhaps best of all though is just how clear this video makes it that Steph hates the shoes too.

“Oh, uh yeah I forgot them at home or I totally would have worn them. I forgot the one pair I have of my signature shoe that was made especially for me. Under Armour said I couldn’t have any more. Tried to get my buddy to go grab them from the house and mail them to me, but he was out of town too. Just an unfortunate series of events. Otherwise I totally would have worn them.”
