ALL WE’RE MISSING IS BON JOVI
So, the big news today will be the Anaheim Ducks hiring Randy Carlyle as their new head coach. Yes, that Randy Carlyle. The one who Anaheim fired to hire Bruce Boudreau. The one who doesn't know how to use a toaster. The one who Toronto fans were so happy to get rid of. He won a Stanley Cup in Anaheim in 2007, so it seems like Ducks GM Bob Murray is chasing the past a bit.
We’ll get into why this is such a bad decision later on the site, but for now I wrote a little song. It may or may not have been inspired by this Bon Jovi commercial.

- Montreal signed a depth defenseman to an extension.
- Blue Jackets veteran Scott Hartnell has reportedly waived his no-movement clause. Is a trade in the works?
- Meanwhile, Jets fans are somewhat startled to learn Tyler Myers doesn't even have a NMC.
- Marc Savard's endless contract just got moved to New Jersey.
- Blues fans are panicking because David Backes put up his St. Louis home for sale.
- But hey, at least they have Mike Yeo now!
- And with Yeo and Carlyle off the market, sounds like the Flames could turn to Glen Gulutzan for their head coach vacancy.
