The 2016 College World Series is just about here with the first games getting underway on June 18. A massively large field of teams has been narrowed down to just eight split across two brackets. The first bracket is comprised of Miami, Oklahoma State, Arizona and UC Santa Barbara. The second bracket has Florida, TCU, Texas Tech and Coastal Carolina in it.

Florida was the No. 1 seed nationally and sports a 5-1 record in the postseason. Their lone loss came to Florida State, but the Gators are confident heading into the World Series looking for their first ever national championship in the sport.
Only two teams, Oklahoma State and UC Santa Barbara, have made it this far in the NCAA Tournament without a loss. The pair were regional No. 2 seeds and are hoping they can win it all. This is UC Santa Barbara’s first ever College World Series appearance. Oklahoma State has won the national championship once before back in 1959.
