Even with Golden State flipping a switch vs Oklahoma City after Game 4 and the Cavaliers looking as dominant an offensive team as we’ve seen in the playoffs recently, there’s good reason to believe (for better or worse) that Cavs forward Kevin Love holds the key to the series because of the following questions:
Kevin Love will decide the NBA Finals
Other players, like Steph Curry and LeBron will get the attention, but Love’s involvement will be enormous.
• Are the Cavs beatable when Kevin Love is hitting from behind the arc?
• Does Cleveland perform at a noticeably lower level when Love can’t connect from deep?
• What happens when Love can’t guard a conventional big like Warriors C Andrew Bogut and is forced to match up with more athletic options on the floor?
• What must Love do to succeed if Cleveland tries to hide him on Andre Iguodala or Harrison Barnes?
• Should Love always be on the floor as Golden State experiments with various mismatches on their extremely lethal pick-and-roll action?
