The USA Swimming Olympic trials continue on Wednesday with several preliminary and semifinal events as well as a handful of finals. Multiple United States Olympians will be named for the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympics, and the bulk of finals coverage will be available on television via NBC and online via streaming on NBC Sports.

All of Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin and Katie Ledecky will be in USA Swimming action at Wednesday’s Olympic trials.


As far as finals events are concerned, the men’s 200-meter butterfly, women’s 200-meter freestyle and women’s 200-meter individual medley will all take place on Wednesday. The semifinals of the men’s 100-meter freestyle and 200-meter breaststroke will also be on display, along with the women’s 200-meter butterfly semifinals. Those semifinals will begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC, with coverage expected to run until 9:20 p.m.
Preliminaries for the events listed with semifinals will be held as well, earlier in the day. The first block of preliminaries begins at 11 a.m. and will run until 2 p.m., with a live stream available online but no television coverage. More preliminaries will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., with those being available to stream and on TV via NBCSN.
All of Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin and Katie Ledecky will be participating in Wednesday’s action. Phelps will be competing in the 200-meter butterfly finals, an event he owns the top four times in. He’ll also be in the 100-meter freestyle prelims and semifinals along with Lochte. Both Franklin and Ladecky will be competing in the 200-meter freestyle finals.
