Cyclist crashes into mountain at Tour de France and walks away unscathed

This guy must be invincible!

The Tour de France is absolutely grueling and dangerous, and for French cyclist Julian Alaphilippe, it’s an absolute miracle he’s still competing in this year’s race.

From the Chicago Tribune, here’s what the NBC broadcasters said about the crash.

The 24-year-old Etixx-Quick Step rider crashed into the cliffside while riding 52 kilometers per hour (more than 32 mph).

The best part about the whole thing though is that the cyclist walked away from it all with very minor injuries.

And following the brutal crash, fellow competitors couldn’t believe he was alright.

Yeah, we’re wondering the same thing. Well, we’re really happy he’s okay, and we hope the rest of the cyclists stay safe for the rest of the race.
