Minnesota United FC jokingly blames jelly sandwich for keeper’s own goal

Sammy Ndjock, goalkeeper for Minnesota United FC, probably wishes his sports fame came from an outstanding play. But on Wednesday, he’d made a name for himself for scoring an own goal in an embarrassing way:

Normally, a moment like that would be tough to live down. But on Thursday, Ndjock and his team decided to make the best out of this situation. So, they made a skit and jokingly explained why he scored the own goal in the first place — it was the jelly sandwich’s fault:

Well done, Minnesota United FC.
