Nick Kyrgios schooled a tennis fan who suggested he stop playing Pokemon Go

Nick Kyrgios is all of us right now. The world tennis No. 18 is utterly addicted to Pokemon Go, and can’t stop playing the game when he’s supposed to be working. On Sunday he took to Twitter to share some of his Pokemon stories.
Some people weren’t happy with this idea. He is a serious tennis man and should only be concentrating on tennis at all times. After all, that’s what the greats do.
How does one respond to this? Do you point out that you are, in fact actually still playing tennis? Do you take it to heart and uninstall Pokemon Go and work on your backhand? Heck no.
Assuming Kyrgios is being serious about his 200CP Gyarados he deserves serious props. Any Pokemon Go player will tell you that it takes 400 Magikarp candy to evolve into a Gyarados, and then leveling it up to 2000CP would take roughly 3,000 Magikarp. Sure, he could have gotten lucky and found a Gyarados in the wild — but this is some dedication either way.
Kyrgios’ dream of catching them all is helped by his travel schedule.
This is the kind of multitasking Federer and Djokovic can’t match in the Pokemon world. Is the tournament Kyrgios is headed to upset that he’s concentrating more on Pokemon than serious tennis business? Heck no.
