Behold, one of the greatest Taiko: Drum Master players to ever walk the earth:
Japanese gaming god dominates this drumming game without looking at the screen

Let’s analyze what happened in the video:
1. He’s not looking at the screen. He’s staring right at the camera, and possibly right into your soul.
2. Not only is he not looking at the screen, there aren’t any notes showing. It’s likely this guy enabled a modifying feature in the game that hides the notes. That’s not new in rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution, but it’s pretty much a way you can tell people you’re not fucking around. Clearly, this man knows the song well enough to look away and add some marching to his performance.
So, who is this ridiculous drummer? According to Rocket News 24, his name is Eiketsu, but he’s better known by his nickname “God of Akihabara,” because he apparently has a reputation for being really good at Taiko: Drum Master. And it’s a fitting name, because not only can he play the game with his back towards the screen, he can also play two-player mode all by himself.
The dude spun around during his performance. Good lord, I can watch these videos all day.
