According to the Gregorian calendar, the 1980s were just three decades ago. This has been a long time coming, but I’m officially here to question whether that’s true. Naturally, MLB Hall of Famer Joe Morgan’s Oakland house that he’s selling for $2.8 million was the breaking point. It’s a very lovely house, with one fatal flaw.

What grown ass adult would put CARPET around a bathtub like this? I’d rather see Jerry Jones in a swimsuit than watch someone take a blacklight to that floor. This is simply unacceptable, and there’s just no way I can believe that society could be so crass just 30 years ago to allow something like that to happen. Thus, the 1980s must have actually been centuries ago. It’s not a plausible explanation, but in another way, it’s the only one that makes sense.
In other news, the house itself is very nice.
Even if this sink is aggressively green.
But as you try to enjoy the nice parts of this lovely estate, you can’t escape the carpeted bathrooms, always lurking in the background, unable to be dispelled from the back of your mind.
