Guy Fieri is a world-class restaurateur, has as many shows on the Food Network as there are days of the week and, more importantly, is a Golden State Warriors fan.
Guy Fieri thought Kevin Durant was going to Golden State way before anyone else
Guy Fieri should become an NBA general manager.

If you looked closely throughout the NBA playoffs, the mayor of Flavortown was right behind Steph Curry all along, rocking his signature bleached spiky hair and sunglasses indoors, even though he didn’t actually have them covering his eyes. Fieri isn’t a self-important celebrity after all.
But one thing he might be is a basketball Nostradamus. Complex talked to Fieri about the Warriors and he was asked who his favorite player is. It’s a simple question, but with the stacked roster that the Warriors have, it’s no surprise Fieri went on a slight tangent and talked about how he knew Durant would end up in Golden State.
Maybe I’m in the KD moment now because he’s coming to the team. I never...well, I shouldn’t say I never thought it would happen. I remember telling his agent during the Playoffs, “I know he’s coming up, you’ve gotta get him to Golden State.”
What an outstanding prediction! Or Fieri was one of the die-hard Warriors fans who bought The Vertical’s February report that Golden State was actively pursuing Durant. You can’t blame him either. That idea sounded too good to be true — “Shut the front door. KD to the Dubs?” — but a devoted Warriors fan would eat it up.
The only difference in this case is that it actually happened. A 73-9 team acquiring one of the top-3 players in the league: now THAT’S money.
It does make me wish that Kevin Durant had his own Decision-style announcement instead of an article on The Players’ Tribune. I can picture it now. “This summer I’m taking my talents to Flavortown.”
