The group stage for women’s volleyball at the 2016 Olympics continues Wednesday with another full day of matches. The biggest will see Team USA take on Serbia in the afternoon as the Americans make their push toward the country’s first-ever gold medal in the event.
Olympics 2016, volleyball schedule: Time, TV coverage and live stream for USA vs. Serbia and more
Team USA is looking for its first-ever gold medal in indoor volleyball.

The rise of the U.S. women’s volleyball team has been impressive, but an Olympic gold medal has still eluded it. At the past two Olympics, Brazil has beaten the U.S. in the gold medal match. Those two silver medals from Beijing and London are certainly nice, but breaking through and winning gold against the Brazilians on their home soil would be especially sweet.
And speaking of the defending gold medal winners, Brazil is set to face Japan Wednesday night. The host country is in a different group from the U.S., so the two sides won’t face each other in the group stage, but we could be looking at a third straight USA vs. Brazil gold medal match. That would be a lot of fun.
There’s a full slate of matches set for Wednesday, so here’s how to watch them all online (all times ET):
