The United States men’s basketball team is unbeaten in Rio, but not without some close calls in the process. On Sunday, the Americans will take on France in their final group stage game trying to show those recent games against Australia and Serbia were part of a learning process. The game will begin at 1:15 p.m. ET and can be viewed on the NBC Olympics live stream.

The United States meets France in its final group stage game in Rio.
Expectations are high for the U.S. in this tournament, which is why it’s been surprising to see Australia and Serbia give them so much trouble over the past couple games. The Americans still came away with wins each time, but for a team expected to dominate, those victories have shown that they’re not unbeatable.
Defense in particular is an area where, despite an overwhelming amount of talent, the U.S. is struggling to become a lockdown unit. The Boomers’ offense gave the U.S. defense trouble throughout their game. The Serbians shot 52 percent from the field and hit 10 three-pointers on Friday.
France should provide another challenge. The team is led by Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum and Rudy Gobert, an impressive trio of NBA players, and has won three straight games. After an ugly 21-point loss to Australia in their Rio debut, the French have beaten China, Serbia and Venezuela to right the ship.
NBC Sports will have the action live, so here’s how to catch Team USA’s next game.
