2016 Olympic beach volleyball results: Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross advance to semifinals
Walsh Jennings continued her unbeaten streak in the Olympics as the Americans beat the Australians in the quarterfinals.

The American team was everywhere on the sand, hustling to win broken plays with dives and digs all over the court. Not only are they one of the most skilled teams in the world, they’ve show a ton of heart and composure each and every time they’ve stepped onto the court in Rio.
For Walsh Jennings, it’s a new quest. She won three consecutive gold medals with her teammate Misty May-Treanor, but is fighting for one more. With Ross, she’s ranked third in the tournament, but they’ve gone unscathed so far, losing only one set along the way. They’ll face Brazil’s Ágatha Bednarczuk and Bárbara Seixas in the semifinals on Tuesday.
