Janis was sidelined for the Packers’ preseason opener and is expected to miss the all of preseason as well as the regular-season opener. Additionally, missing time on the field could mean Janis will lose his battle with Davante Adams for the No. 3 wide receiver spot.
Fantasy Spin:
Janis’ low position on the depth chart, coupled with his hand injury, makes his fantasy stock almost nonexistent. There is a chance he will be cut from the Packers roster before the start of the season. If the Packers do keep Janis on the 53-man roster, he will likely just play special teams. Best advice for fantasy owners here is to avoid Janis and go with another Aaron Rodgers target.
