The Seattle Seahawks may be without starting tight end Jimmy Graham to begin the 2016 season, according to ESPN reporter Sheil Kapadia. Graham is currently attempting to recover from a torn patellar tendon that cut his season short in 2015.
Jimmy Graham could miss start of season, no effect on fantasy value yet
The Seattle tight end’s status for the beginning of the season is uncertain as he continues to recover from a serious knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told the media on Wednesday that the team does not “have any expectations” as to when Graham will be able to play in an actual game this year.
Carroll added that Graham “looks good” right now but that the team is going to play it safe with their tight end in order to “not have any setbacks.”
Fantasy impact: In 2015, Graham’s ADP was second only to New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
After missing the end of the 2015 season due to an injury and catching only two touchdowns, fantasy owners seem to be looking elsewhere in 2016 when it comes to drafting a tight end.
Last year, Graham was on pace for his lowest totals in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns in a 16-game season. There is no reason to think he will produce more in 2016 until he proves otherwise.
