Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz continues to be listed as day-to-day with a rib injury, according to head coach Doug Pederson. Wentz was recently cleared to resume throwing but will be brought along carefully to protect the player. Wentz could be returning to the practice field as early as this week to further his chances of seeing significant time in the Eagles’ final preseason game against the New York Jets.
Carson Wentz rib injury day-to-day, limited early season fantasy value
Carson Wentz is recovering from a rib injury, we take a look at his early season fantasy potential.

This injury is surely a blow to the rookie’s development in the Eagles’ offense and the more reps that Wentz is able to gain, the more prepared he would be for the regular season.
Fantasy Status Update: Given his rookie status and the current state of his rib injury, it is an unlikely scenario that Carson Wentz will be under center for the regular season Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns. Fantasy owners should be sure to keep Wentz on on their radar later this season in case of an injury to expected starter, Sam Bradford.
