Iman Shumpert and fiancée Teyana Taylor made a very oiled-up appearance during the VMAs

We figured we’d get a few athlete appearances during the MTV VMAs on Sunday. After all, the Olympics just ended and athletes have been occasionally popping up in random places.

But this is the last thing we expected. During Kanye West’s unveiling of the “Fade” music video featuring Teyana Taylor, Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert made a surprise appearance. Nude. Oiled up. With a baby and Taylor (who is engaged to Shump). And sheep. And a lot of baby oil.

They’re almost as oiled up as the Tongan flag bearer who showed up during the Olympic opening ceremonies.

Afterwards, Shumpert went to Twitter to see how everyone was doing after watching the NBA champ in the buff—just kidding. He basked in the glory of appearing in a Kanye video with his fiance.

Thanks Shump. That kind of notoriety is worthy of a newly crowned NBA champion. The Kanye bump is also a great omen before the start of the NBA season.
