Gaël Monfils’ approach to playing tennis may not be the most traditional, but it might just be the most fun. Monfils is a creative shot-maker and a lot of times that creativity includes jumping, spinning and attempting completely wild shots.
Gaël Monfils plays tennis like he’s on a trampoline and it’s delightful

He got really creative during his match on Wednesday. He jumped and went between the legs. He jumped and did some spinning returns. He jumped a lot.
Monfils jumped and hit a return between his legs, only to immediately chase down the return back and attempt a leaping 360-degree smash back. It didn’t work, but he should have received the point anyway, just for that effort.
Sometimes the jumping worked, sometimes it didn’t. But, it was always enjoyable. And at least this time Monfils didn’t damage any of the on-court clocks while attempting a leaping return.
