Doctson is still rusty after missing most of the past three months with an Achilles injury. He did return in time to play in Week 1, when he caught one pass on one target for nine yards vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It came at the end of a blowout, but seeing Doctson just active was an encouraging sign for his fantasy prospects this year. He also showed in practice this week that he can be a nice jump-ball target in the red zone.
Fantasy Impact: The 22nd pick of the 2016 NFL Draft is expected to take on a big role in this offense as the year goes on, but he’s still behind Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson, and Jamison Crowder in the receiver pecking order.
Doctson is not even worth a roster spot in anything other than deep dynasty leagues right now, but keep him on your watch list going forward.
