This Auburn fan slowly eating a burger and staring at the camera is mesmerizing

In sports, we attempt to find the player or coach who exemplifies both greatness and humility that transcends beyond a game and into our everyday lives — but we may have been looking in the wrong places.

We should have been looking at the stands all along because I may have found the fan that has reached sports Nirvana. He doesn’t even look like he cares about the close game or that the cameras are on him.

During the Texas A&M - Auburn game, ESPN focused on the Taco Bell Student Section. While everyone else was showing their passion with body paint and chants, this dude was just chomping on a burger. What better way to stick it to brands than by eating some other type of fast food in area designed to highlight Tex-Mex cravings.

He really should have shared some of that burger with the women next to him cheering for the team or the guy to his right who just seems confused about this entire situation.

This took place when the score was 10-7 in the second quarter, so the game wasn’t even decided just yet. It’s arguably the best time to become enthralled in the action. Nope, not this guy. He’s just going to stare into the camera and slowly take a bit out of his burger. It’s like watching a lava lamp.

The Aggies eventually won the game 29-16, which would be heartbreaking for any Tigers fan. But if I know my hat-wearing friend, which i obviously don’t, he’s resting easy knowing there are more burgers to conquer tomorrow — and another chance at a Tigers victory next week against LSU.

Maybe I’m just hungry and really want a burger right now, but I like this Auburn fan.
