Denver Broncos

Start ‘em

C.J. Anderson continues to be a fantasy owner’s dream. Drafted as a RB2/flex, Anderson has garnered the usage he deserves with young Trevor Siemian under center, and hasn’t disappointed in the slightest. He is realizing his dominant 2014 form, and until he shows otherwise, he is an elite RB1 even against a capable Bengals defense.

Demaryius Thomas returned to practice at full capacity after battling a hip injury in Week 2. Despite that, he logged 90 yards on five catches at less than 100 percent health. He is locked in as a WR2/WR3 even in a tough matchup.

Start ‘em?

Emmanuel Sanders leads the Broncos in targets, but on a run-first offense, there won’t be much fantasy wealth to be had among the team’s pass catchers. Sanders has just 88 receiving yards out of the gate, and until he is able to do more with his opportunities, fantasy owners will have a tough time trusting him against a defense that has shut down Brandon Marshall and Antonio Brown. Sanders is a boom-or-bust flex option.

Sit ‘em

Siemian and Jeff Heuerman, who will be starting in place of Virgil Green, can be considered afterthoughts for Week 3.

Cincinnati Bengals

Start ‘em

So after posting a 12-180-1 line in Week 1, A.J. Green responded with a 2-38-0 line against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fantasy football is fun, right? Things don’t get any easier against a monstrous Broncos defense, but Green remains in the WR1 conversation despite having considerable downside. This could be an afternoon of checkdowns for Andy Dalton, making Gio Bernard an under the radar RB2 for Sunday’s matchup.

Sit ‘em

The matchup doesn’t indicate there will be much room for fantasy production throughout the lineup. Dalton, Jeremy Hill, Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd can be safely stashed on benches in 10 and 12-team leagues.
