The Green Bay Packers will not have Jordy Nelson on a snap count against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Michael Cohen.

The expectation continues to be Nelson will get close to, if not a full workload in Week 1. This will be his first NFL game in two years after he tore his ACL in the 2015 preseason, but the Packers think Nelson is ready to roll as if he has not missed a beat.

It also helps that the Packers were a mess offensively in 2015, which has them ready to get Nelson going sooner rather than later.

Fantasy Spin: Nelson’s Week 1 fantasy prospects continue to grow as Sunday inches closer. He is starting to be projected as a top-10 WR this week. Even though he has not played a regular-season game since 2014, Nelson looks poised for a big season that should start in Week 1.
