Boston Celtics reveal new jerseys with GE sponsorship patch

On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics announced a three-year partnership with GE, and starting with the 2017-18 season, GE will have its logo patched on the left shoulder of the team’s jerseys.

In April 2016, the NBA announced it would start a pilot program for jersey sponsorships after testing it out at the 2016 All-Star Game, where a KIA logo was patched onto jerseys. The Celtics are the third team to have a jersey sponsorship, after the Sixers announced a deal with StubHub last May, and the Kings with Blue Diamond Almonds last October.

As for how people feel about the GE logo being on Celtics jerseys? Well ...
