Another NHL All-Star Weekend is in the books. And after year two of the 3-on-3 format, it’s safe to call it a winning formula for the NHL. That is, if you don’t hate the idea of All-Star Games in general. But if you’re open to it, there was a lot to like on Sunday!

The 3-on-3 format starts goofy (see: P.K. Subban laying out to stop a pass and not getting up for half a minute), but as the $1 million prize draws closer, the final game turns into a legitimately hard-fought 3-on-3 game. The result was one of the more entertaining All-Star Games in recent memory.
