Six-foot-five isn’t necessarily short. As a matter of fact, for most humans, 6’5 is abnormally tall. Except, that is, when you’re a professional basketball player.
Myles Turner dunked on Courtney Lee then rode him like a horse
Giddy up, Courtney.
In that case, 6’5 is minuscule, especially when trying to defend a 6’11 athletic center. And New York Knicks guard Courtney Lee found that out the hard way on Saturday, when trying to prevent Myles Turner from dunking on his head.
In the third quarter of the Knicks’ Saturday matchup with the Indiana Pacers, Lee attempted to cut off a pass from Paul George. But PG13, being the All-Star level player he is, lobbed it up to his taller big man in Turner, who flushed it down over Lee, before coming down on his back.
Lee even jumped in an attempt to prevent his inevitable demise, but the combination of George’s pinpoint alley-oop pass and Turner’s height and leaping ability proved too much for the Knicks’ guard.
So much for that New York defense, huh?
