Jay Ajayi leaves game after suffering shoulder injury in Dolphins vs. Steelers

A bad afternoon gets worse for Miami.

The Miami Dolphins were down 30-6 in the fourth quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers when their star running back, Jay Ajayi, went down with an injury.

Ajayi suffered an injury to his left shoulder. His return is questionable. He was seen getting up slow, and was not moving his left arm.

He’s been dealing with a left shoulder injury over the past few weeks, and to injure the same one this afternoon certainly doesn’t bode well for Ajayi and the Dolphins.

He hadn’t had a great game up to that point. He had 13 carries and just 33 yards on the afternoon. In the Dolphins’ last visit against the Steelers, he had 25 carries and 204 yards, along with two touchdowns.
