Arizona Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson will see his first action of the season alongside his new teammates in Week 6. Peterson was acquired in a trade from the New Orleans Saints last week. He’ll be ready to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 6: What to do with Adrian Peterson
The Cardinals have added a new running back to the roster in time for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Peterson is glad for the change of scenery. He’s rushed for just 81 yards on 27 attempts this season.
Fantasy impact: With David Johnson out for an extended period of time and Andre Ellington specializing as a pass catcher, Peterson will certainly get a look in the Cards’ offense.
Expecting him to return to his Vikings form is not realistic as he’s on the wrong side of 30 now. That said, he does warrant being on fantasy teams in deep leagues now, something that was arguable before the trade.
Owners may want to see how he does before giving him the nod in the starting lineup, but at least for now it’s encouraging that he gets a fresh start in the desert.
Recommendation: Start
